Default Another T5 conversion question

Has anyone used the entire 91-92 Camaro bellhousing, slave cylinder, and clutch fork in their conversion. I would like to use all the camaro parts with the clutch master cylinder coming from a 1985 one ton truck. I have heard the stock camaro slave cylinder and slave cylinder mount will contact the c3 floor. Is this true?, and if so how did you get around this problem.

Thanks
Randy

It is probably true. Mine did also. A small cut and a little fiberglassing quickly fixes that problem. Don't be afraid to cut the floor. Clean it well with a grinder well back from the edges and fiberglass.
I even added 2 extra inches to my wife's side of the tunnel to give her more purse room.

I had to notch the corner of my floor when I installed the hyd slave in my 79. It isn't a big deal to fiberglass it back after dutting it.

Thanks for the responses guys, that makes a lot sense, it is much easier for me to do some fiberglass work than to fabricate a different clutch linkage. especially when I have the 91 camaro sitting in my driveway with all the parts.
