Speedo Lube

I first removed the seat, which allows plenty of room to work, then the a/c duct piece that blocks entry to behind the dash. One screw holds this in place. After removing it, the cable sheathing was visible and can be disconnected by depressing the clip which holds it to the head. I then removed the cable from the tranny but don't know if this is really necessary. I then pulled the cable free of the sheathing and after checking for wear and bends, lubed and reinstalled it and put everything else back together. A test drive indicated all was well again. The best part was that the job took less than a half hour.
