1968 tilt and telescopic steering
I have a 1968 corvette. When I bought the car the turn signal switch was removed and they had toggle switches in the dash. I bought a new switch for 67-68 only and when I open the column I found a different type of switch. The one I ordered was round and the one on the car was mounted to the side of the column was rectangle 1 inch x 3 inch. I also order a new blinker handle that was missing. 68 switch
Sorry you got a 68 with this type of modifiation for turn signals. Who did you purchase your new turn signal switch from? What is the name brand of the new switch? Just for future reference, no big deal with me, but 68's did not come with tilt, only telescopic. My original owner 68 has it.

Your ignition switch is on the dash ,correct? If you have tilt/tele then you have a 69-up column. the other forum member is correct .no tilt tele in 68. 68's had the ignition on the dash .69's and up on the column. You may have the right switch and the wrong column.Or maybe they just sent you the wrong switch by accident.It happens
