Ok well I got a MPG reading back with the new 4-hole spacer. I should say these won't really be conclusive since I got on it hard 0-90 about 4 times, and I only have 3 gears (so about 60 miles of this tank was cruising along at 70 @ 3500 RPMs). Turned out I got 200 miles on 17.6 gallons. Still not good, but better than i was getting, even with only having 3 gears and getting on it hard a few times. Works out to 11.36mpg.
I'll try to chime in again after I fix the transmission and can keep my foot out of it for a whole tank.

since u said it got 8-10 before,
based on 9, that is + 26%
doing WOT testing i was able to get down to 4 mpg so i'd say your report, without even OD, is encouraging.
