From what I've read, I'd love to give it a shot. Need a few more bucks though, and I'll wait until I have the body off the frame. I wonder where the best place to put the pump and tank would be? Near the gas tank?
I'd like to have airbag suspension on mine. If I had seen the bolt-in kits for C3s before I bought all my suspension that's probably what would be on there. I'm not changing it now though.

Thanks for the replies!
Any websites or sources for these kits you mention?
i've been wanting to do this for 3 years..... since i have my tank/2 compressors/switches and wires...all i need are the bags and air lines.....
you need to replace the rear leaf with a fabbed moment arm setup....
i'm still not sure what size bags i need though..... i would think the same on all 4 corners..... i might have a friend help me bag mine when the time comes.... i still need to draft up the rear end setup and have his shop make it up for me........
i'm gonna mount the tank where the spare tire used to be....but first put up a plate of aluminum under the gas tank just to be safe a bit.....
I built a rear system with the Shockwave 7000s. The air ride was nice enough and I even went so far as to mount the 5 gallon air tank in the back. I swapped back to the QA1 double adjustable coil-overs with 110# springs but I wished I had bought some Bilstein shocks to try before I did. I just haven't had time to fool around with it anymore.
