What Is This Switch??
What Is The Black Thing With Wires Plugged Into It Under The Windshield Res Bottle On A 75? I Touched It And It Turned Into Mulch. After Adding It To My Flowerbed I Thought I Might Need A New One. What Is It And What Does It Do

Just check my 75 and the only switch near the the wiper reservoir is a switch in the A/C line but it's along side not under. Mine does not have a switch or wires under.

it mounts to the bracket right next to the alarm switch. the wires are yellow and black.
the black is where the switch was sitting? the plug just pushes right on to top of the switch

That's probably the alarm anti-tamper switch. Sets off the alarm if someone jacks around with the key cylinder.

I doubt the alarm would work right without it, but if you're not playing with that noisy, ineffectual alarm it's utterly unnecessary.

If he tamper switch is removed, the alarm horn will blow all the time. Similar to if you opened the door or the hood and tried to set the alarm!
This switch is the same switch as the headlamp open switch found in each of the headlamp buckets.
Is this the switch you are looking at?
