Default Muncie Speedometer Driven Gear Question

Dose anyone off hand know the correct plastic speedometor driven gear to use with a muncie and 4.11?

Also, would it be the same for a m20 m21 and m22?

68 vette m21

It varies based on rear tire diameter and rear gear ratio (and drive gear). Same ones are used in M21, M22, some TH350, etc. There should be charts out there on the 'net.

That's a good thread, but the problem is the car hasnt ran in years and I cant calculate it's speed lol

I am throwing the muncie 4spd back together in a 68 with 4.11 s

Stock wheels.

Does anyone know the driven gear that left the factory in this setup?

Default You might check this out

I'm not an expert on this but here is what I have been looking at as well. The drive gear on Muncie's should be either 7 or 8. You might be able to count the gear in the transmission. I have not done this yet, but that would be my first guess.

Then take a look at this website -

Good luck!
