Default Tachometer module

Could anybody help me, I am looking for the position under the dash where the tachometer circuit board and tach filter is located

They are located on the back of the Tach and Speedo. The driver's side knee pad that houses those two gauges has to come out for you to access those parts.

Isn't the tach filter mounted to the intake manifold?

You're right, I didn't catch that, I was tunneled in on the tach circuit.

Could somebody post a picture of tach filter/intake manifold? My tach didn't work (it's pegged) after my new engine w/ new manifold was put in. I wonder if mechanic "missed" that...
