Default Winter Oil 15-50

Change the oil today getting ready for winter, went with Mobil 1 Synthetic 15-50. The container said it will flow at -38f, I want to be able to start it and drive it occasionally this winter, I hope it will be OK? ;)

What do you run in the summer? In winter you want thinner oil so it will get to all parts very quickly. I would not go heaver then 5-30.

You want to look at 0w30 fully synthetic oil , by Amsoil (www.amsoil.com). I use this in the winter and you get instant lubrication on startup...this is very important in cold weather. During the summer, i go with 20w50 racing synthetic . I love thier products. Thier oil filters are synthetic material too...much better than the standard types. Become a Dealer for $20 per year and recieve a discount on everything you order . They have synthetic rear end lube and 4 speed gear box lube, and trans. oil , and even synthetic hi temp racing grease.
