Default 69 Windshield Washer

I have a 69 with the headlight washers. I'm trying to get them to work. Can anyone tell me where to connect the two leads comming from the washer pump. The wiring diagrams I have doesn't show these two connections. Thanks

Does your washer pump have the additional headlight washer hose anti-siphon solenoid? It's a barrel shaped solenoid on the driver's side of the washer pump. It was added to stop the headlight washer nozzles from siphoning all the water out of the bag. The two leads from the washer pump connect the washer pump solenoid to the anti siphon solenoid. The anti siphon solenoid terminals are on the bottom of the anti-siphon solenoid, pointing toward the ground, beneath the hose connections.
hope this helps

Thanks for the reply. Just a little confused. The anti siphon solenoid has 2 terminals facing down. They are already connected to a 2 terminal plug. It looks like with the correct wires I could fit the 2 leads into that plug. Would that be correct. Thanks again.

According to the wiring diagrams I have, there are two wires coming from your main wiring harness, (yellow/ dark blue) that should connect to the washer pump (through some black jumper wires). The yellow and blue wires (yellow=feed, dk blue=ground) energize the solenoid (on the main washer pump) that opens the flow of water to the wiper nozzles. (The pump itself is turned by the main shaft of the W/S wiper motor when it's moving the wipers.)
Depending on the color (are they black?) I think the other wires you have are jumpers that connect the two solenoids together. That way, when the power goes to the solenoid on the washer pump, the black wires jump the current to the anti-siphoning valve and open it too.

If you can add some info on what the colors of the wires are that you're looking at, it will help. If they are all black wires (at the wiper pump solenoid, and at the anti-siphon solenoid terminals) they should be jumpers.

Where do the wires from the anti-siphon terminals lead to? what color are they, if not black?

Your picture of the wiper motor did the trick. The 2 black wires look like jumper wires. Thank you for clearing this up. Many thanks.
