1970 Positive Battery Cable, correct ends?
Whats easier then buying a battery cable for my 70? Well..
Ecklers has one for a 70 vette with a 90o bend where it hooks to the starter and...
They have one for a 70-82 with a straight end where it hooks to the starter. The later also has an extra lead coming out of the positive side terminal.
What one is the easier hook up, the 90o or the straight end?
Thank You!!!

I just went through this on my 72, when the engine and transmission were out. You want the cable with the 90 degree bend at the starter end. The cable follows the transmission tunnelfrom the battery box to the front of the car. So the cable is parallel to the starter and engine. You need the 90 degree bend to catch the lug on the starter. Make sure the gauge od the cable is at least 2, 0 is ideal. Best of luck
