It is sure nice to have the manual pull switch to replace a burnt out headlamp or just to wash this area JMO.
I agree but you can just pull the small hose off at the headlight relay and do the same thing.Or just turn the engine off pull the headlight switch out and the lights will come up then push the switch in- out - in real fast and that will leave the lights up and the beams off.Your just bleeding off the vacuum to the relays.
I am kinda confused about your method of doing it. I would like things to work fairly easy. I guess i will order the switch. I tred running the vac straight to the bac can, and every thing and nothing happened, maybe my actuaters are bad

Sorry vacuum can be a little confusing. If you dont have a pulldown and you want to use just your headlight switch to control the headlights then find the hose coming from the actuators at the front and put that hose on the front port of the headlight switch and the other hose(vacuum from manifold or engine)to the back port(port closest to the ****)on the switch.
pretty much everything. All i want is the bare necessities for the headlights to work.
What I told you in post 23 is the simplest if you plan to use the Corvette light switch and you want to have a 1 pull operation.
If you want to operate the headlight doors manually and have the option to use a standard chevy light switch then the diagram I posted is the way to go.
