Default Hard top question

So I picked up a hard top for my 72 convertible. I see the side bolts which are on my car, but how does the rear attach?

Should be two chromed die cast blocks screwed to rear of hardtop R&L ... each w/ a female threaded hole on underside ... you can buy more arrowheaded pins like on your rag top & screw them in or you can use common allthread/threaded rod from hardware store w/ some nuts & washers. Be careful with those threads in that die cast!!! Don't force anything or it'll surely crack/strip!!!

seems like the last detail had a pretty good selection of those kinda parts at decent $

The earlier cars and tops did not attach in the back (my 68 does not). Does your top have the pin and the deck does'nt have a corresponding latch? Some people would just cut the pin and be done with it. Not sure what you would do if you wanted the pin. Do a search as I beleive this was a topic about a year ago and there may be pictures.
