Default Need Quiet Mufflers

I am interested in ultimate performance by paying the price of a noisy interior. Its a 1977 C3. I have gotten older and have been there/done that with loud pipes. I take long rides and want peace and quiet where I dont have to blast my radio................ Any suggestions short of buying a Cadilac?????????????

I Have a 70 454 with dynomax mufflers out the back they have the mounting brackets on the mufflers like the originals. Its got a nice tone not to loud but everyone doesn't agree on what is loud or quite. Best if you find other vetts to listen to.

These are probably the best you could buy. Quiet with power if that makes any sense. As stated, they also have the brackets and are made specifically for Vettes. Not like so many of the others that are universal mufflers and most of those are obnoxiously loud.,,,

They belong on pump jockey Mustangs and Camaros, not Vettes..

I use to have these, and they were nice and quite with a decent sound. Probably one of the quietest mufflers short of going to stock reproduction ones.

I have Dynomax on my car too. I bought Universal ones from Jegs and had them fitted. The sound is nice.

If you want factory quiet, check Corvette Central #323765 (cat back). I have their product on my 1967 and it is passenger car quiet.

Walker QuietFlow series mufflers are very quiet and still flow well. Any muffler shop can get them. They are quieter than Dynomax (which is Walkers performance line).

Dynomax Super Turbos here with a crossover pipe and I think they're perfect. Nice tone without being obscene, quiet on the highway. There is a slight resonence in mine at 1000 rpm but it's very small.

Why not just buy original factory replacements ?
