Power Steering Pump wiggle
I'm tracking down a minor vibration and disconnected the PS pump to rule it out and noticed I could 'wiggle' the pulley and shaft quite a bit. I suspect this is not normal correct? Time for a new pump I guess. I took it for a spin with the pump still disconnected and didn’t notice any major difference in the vibration intensity.

The wiggle may just be a bent pulley. Many people remove the PS pump pulley by prying from the rear instead of using a proper puller. This tends to bend/warp the pulley, thus causing a wiggle. Remove the pulley then check the shaft for excess movement. I just changed mine because the previous owner/mechanic had warped it.

The previous owner replace the pulley so it's new and straight. I can grasp the pulley and move it back and forth. When I do this, I hear a clunking sound at the read of the pump.
