i'm about to buy my headers is there any difference in ceramic block headers off ebay @ from summit or jeg any iput would help ther is a big difference in price ebay 100 to 150 summit 150 to 400 thanks pete

Without actually seeing the headers you're referring to or their specs, in general headers like Summit's or Jeg's house brands are good quality, but thinner gauge steel and thinner flanges. That translates to shorter lifespans and bolts backing out creating leaks more than more expensive makes.
Nothing wrong at all with saving money, you have to determine how long you'll keep the car, etc., and decide. If you plan on keeping the car, replacing the headers or constantly torquing the bolts (maybe) can make you wish you spent a bit more.
If you're asking about spending the difference on ceramic coated as opposed to painted steel...a short answer...YES!!! Ceramic coated lasts longer, looks better longer and transmits somewhat less heat to the engine compartment.

i would not personally recommend the generics from summit or jegs. they're not crap but they are definately budget. now i'm assuming the coated headers are just the generics that have been coated. i've had several pair (notice that?) of the generic non-coated headers and they don't have the best fit. mine also have cracked in only a couple short years but that is probably accelerated to thermaltape.

Before buying from Summit or Jeg's ask the sales rep who makes the headers for them. I've found that in Summit's case that their "Summit" branded parts are most often made by brand name manufacturers. You can often find the identical part under the manufacturer's brand for more money. That may help you feel a bit better (or not) about buying a Summit or Jeg's branded part.
I would also add that I've never been disappointed with any Summit branded parts that I've bought.
