Default Help!!! What is the thread front bracket?

I'm trying to find the thread size of the upper hole on the front spindle on the 69 Corvette. I believe it's a 5/8 but I'm unsure of the pitch.
Can anyone help???

Thx, Matt

Matt,
Not sure what you mean. The nut that is used to mount the spindle to the upper ball joint is 1/2" x 20 according to my parts book. Now that I reread your post I guess you mean the bolt that mounts the dust shield... and that's not in my book. I have the bolt in my hand and it's a very fine thread. Sorry, I don't have a gauge to measure it.
Regards,
Alan

If you're talking about the big sucker that holds the top of the dust shield down, it's a real freak of a bolt. Van Steel has them available, that's where I found replacements.
