Calling LS1 swappers......
Hey guys, quick question. I have a '69 frame that I am putting an LS1 T56 into. I have the motor out of the Camaro and just about ready to put onto my frame. I know I need to relocate the alternator, and I think I have figured out my motor mounts, but as for transmission mounts, What are my options. I am building a car from scratch so I don't have a previous template to go by. I have read all 15 pages of the sticky but found no answers. (but a lot of useful information) Thanks. C3.

You're going to have to do some fab work on the crossmember for your tranny. My car was originally an automatic so the crossmember unbolted which makes it a little different then most swaps. I used a 700R4 automatic transimission mount (it bolts right to the T56) and you can see in the pics what I did to modify the crossmember.
