compression ratio Ques
I rebuilt my 76 L48. Replaced the bearings, rings etc. I left the bottom end alone and kept the stock pistons, rods and all hard parts. I installed a set of 202 heads with a 64cc chamber. How much did this raise my compression ratio. The stock heads are 76cc and I think the original ratio is 8.5 to 1.

If the actual compression ratio of the stock engine was 8.5:1, then a 64cc head would bump it to about 9.6:1, assuming that you use the .015 coated head gasket again.
However, I think you will find that the stock CR is actually less if you measure.
