Default Head help...

Hey guys with tax return time coming I would like to treat myself to new heads...But I would like some help explaining the diff. between the intake runner #'s 290 as apposed to 315 n the combustion chamber #'s110 compared to 118....There's a few different sizes so I wish to know is bigger better or not...My car is a 77' big block...Thanx...Jerrylee///

Hey JerryLee, you should provide more detailed info about your engine and how you plan to drive the car, to get the correct imput on new heads.

Sorry 4 the delay...As 4 my engine it's a 463 c.i.,iron heads,XE268 comp cam set up with a c.r. about 10 to 1...I'm also going to change my gears from 3:08 to 3:70...It's mostly a street car...I'm not to concerned about top end it's the torque that I want so I can create that nasty launch...I would love to upgrade my cam if I can scrounge the extra bucks so any advice there would also be appreciated....Thanx...Jerrylee///
