Will I have to change my lug studs if I decide to upgrade to torque-thrust aftermarket rims...my lug studs are the same size as the original ones.

what size tires are you running? I want to put wide tires in the rear. I just bought offset trailing arms...I was also thinking about putting flares on the back end. So any size torque thrust 2's will work with the stock studs?

I am running 18X10 rear rims with 275 40 18s and the front is a 17X8 with 255 45 17 tires. I am running stock trailing arms with this setup also. No flares either.

im pretty sure if you go with too wide of a tire the e-brake bracket comes into play as a problem(unless you can weld or the new t/a's have provisions for either), also you dont want the wheel and tire to rub up front. more forum member that can better answer the question will chime in soon.

ps i love the TT2's good choice

The offset arms already have the parking brake bracket repositioned on top of the arm. They also allow for wider tires without having to use flares. I like the look of flares though, that's why I was thinking of using them and installing really wide tires. My car is custom anyways...I could care less what others think about it.

You could then most likely fit in a 12 inch wide wheel and run something like a 325 rear tire with flares.

Ahhh, that's what I'm talking about. That would look Now I've got to figure out where to buy the rims from. I'm looking for the cheapest place. I'll probably be buying them in about two months, but I am just trying to plan for the future.
