Transistor Ignition System

Can someone with an LT-1 please post a picture of the transistor ignition? Or, if you have an LT-1 that is missing the TI, can you post a picture of the holes where it was supposed to be mounted.

You could never get a camera to take a decent photo where the box mounts. too tight a spot to see holes. If box is there then a photo would show that.

open the hood and stand in front center of car.

look to the front side of the inner fender just opposite of where the front wheel is.

There will be 3 holes 1 at top and 2 down.

Thanks David. I was having a tough time seeing...I'll check again later. I think I read in another thread that you can also see the holes in front of the front driver's side wheel (not by looking under the hood, but by looking in the wheel well in front of the wheel). I do see 3 holes there, I will take some pictures.

There is a difference when viewing those triangular shaped 3 holes in the inner well between a LT-1 and a big block with TI.

Took this picture of the wheelwell in front of the driver's side front tire. Are these the three holes?

That looks like the bolt holes for the TI amp to me. That's very similar to my 70 which still has the amp installed. The rest of the TI system is on a shelf waiting to be rebuilt and reinstalled.
