Default Steering repair recommendation
I need to have my 1971 tilt steering column rebuilt and I am looking for a reputable repairman to do the job. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I live in the D.C. suburbs. The column is loose near the tilt and the ignition key is difficult to get out of the lock position.

There are people that can rebuild those, but if the column is otherwise in good shape, you might just try your local GM dealer.
