'76 Wipers
Hello. Have 2 questions.
I have no high speed on my wipers..Is there a regulator on wiper motor itself or is it external to wiper motor?
I am concerned about wiper arm/linkages that are attached to motor..Are they supposed to have "play in them" ?
It would be nice to have a step by step install....

The wiper motor has internal resistors that control the amount of current through the motor. R&R is very straightforward. The ends of the wiper arms have swivel joints so there will be some freeplay in them. The motor is simply held in place by a three nuts and a single nut on the rear to the linkage. Check my Blog for a few pics of a '76 wiper motor replacement to see if that helps at all.
