Default Body off stuck

I'm pulling the body off a badly rusted frame. All 8 body bolts are out.
The parking brake cable is free
Eng & trans are out
Steering columb free
nose cap support bolts are out
brake lines out of the master cylinder
interior gutted to cut weight
And it's stuck! Am I missing something?
I've got the nose lose, but is/are there anything else hidden away somewhere? Just how heavy is the body anyway?
I'm trying to **** it up just a bit to fish the lifting straps between the body & frame at the 2 places on each side. (front & rear area by the doors.)
Thanks...

Battery ground straps. One on pass side by a-arm. One in battery compartment. One by antenna in rear if you have an antenna back there. Maybe a small one by proportion valve area. Good luck.

There always seems to be something else! Check for your antenna cable and ground strap if applicable. Also, look for a ground strap at body mount #2 on the driver side. Did you look at the gas filler overflow. Try moving the body a little to see which end is hung-up. Geter done!

You mentioned nose cap support bolts. Not sure for your year but my 71 had bolts from the front of the frame to the body by the radiator support.

Check the following:
- rear bumper
- rear electrical harness
- front bumper extension arms (run through from frame rails forward to bumper through fender skirt)
- ground strap at no 1 mount location (drivers side)
- seat belt at floor

You should be able to lift at all points, just do so slowly and listen.

If the front is loose you probably forgot something in the rear. We damn near pulled the main support beam of my house down because my son didn't remove 2 bumper attachment bolts in the rear of the 72. Ground straps are also a possibility but the body will start to move a little before they run out of slack.

Looks like he got the body off, but for the heck of it, youare right that the seat belts do come up with the body, but there is a cable on the bottom of the belt mountings that wraps a round the frame. Seams they didn't think just bolting the belts to glass was good enough Any the cable was on my 68 maybe not all had it.

Original post said it was stuck. Was it stuck or just a snug fit?

Doesn't look like you broke anything.

It's amazing the adhesive power of rust! Also had to remove the ground strap/cable back by the rear end...that helped a lot to unstick it!

Life is good when you can get the body off the frame without breaking anything. How do the rocker channels look? Nice job so far.

I'm formulating a "plan" to get the whole underside cleaned with the pressure washer and Simple Green. I just haven't worked out the details yet. Rocker channels have a lot of residual corrosion. I'm replacing the birdcage too as it has significant corrosion across the top front and in the lower posts areas. I did crack the tail cap in a corner, but I'm going back with a hard fiberglass replacement unit anyway for front & rear caps.
If I had, had a torch, I would have cut a few things out of my way, but nothing "broken" that needs to go back.
New frame will be powder coated and there will be a ubiquitous use of stainless steel and aluminum components.
It's gonna' be so purdy when I geter' all done.
