Brake booster question
Would I be able to swap a 1979 master cylinder and booster with a 1973 .(put the ’79 on a ’73 car) They both look the same and have the same bolt pattern. Thanks in advance.

I just looked in one of my parts catalogs and the master cly.and brake booster are not the same.67 to 76 are the same for the master cyl.and 77 to 82 are the same that also goes for the power booster

You can buy a booster/master cylinder assembly from either Autozone or AdvanceAuto (don't remember which right now) for less than $100. You may as well get the correct one. If you go through the pain of installing a booster and it doesn't fit right you will be very unhappy.
