1980 HVAC question
The Hvac sytem won't switch to the blow in you face setting. It goes to floor and dfrost fine. I was told it needs an actuator. How hard is it to get to and where to get one?

I am not yet versed at the corvette HVAC system but you might not need an actuator. Behind the HVAC controls there is a vacumn switch that ports the vacumn to the differant actuators you might want to pull it out of the panel and make sure there is no unplugged lines or lines with holes. Be sure you have your vacumn source connected to your intake manifold. With the engine running and the HVAC panel out try switching positions and see what happens.
