I have the AIM, and it helps. BUT...I wanted to see someone's car who was correct. Does the battery sit in a box or on the fiberglass underbody? I don't have any holes down there for the rivets or bolts so I am confused.
I bought the car last year and have no owner history at this time so I don't know what a previous owner has done. I'm not sure why the holes wouldn't be there... None of the corvette parts sites sell battery boxes, so I assume it mounts to the fiberglass underbody.

Hi AZ,
The battery sits down on the 'floor' of the battery compartment. I would think you should be able to see some trace of all the holes for the various mounts either in the compartment or from underneath. The AIM does give you some clue what to look for and where. Good Luck!!!
