Info on GMPP 12367712 Aluminum Heads
Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me about the GMPP 12367712 heads. They are the GM fast burn heads but not the newer casting number. Thinking of trading some stuff for these and want to make sure there isnt anything special about these I need to know. Can they work with an old school tyle intake or just a vortec. Are these the same as the other 12464298 part number?
Thanks
Chris

i dont have access to the part numbers but i have gm fast burn heads. i run them with a vortec air gap manifold. i thought fast burns were all vortec with raised runners so if thats the case you will def need vortec manifold.

Cast #12367713 is nothing more then a hardened version of cast #12367712. Cast #12367713 was being used currently on a high-volume production basis. The origial prototype cast #12367712 was too soft to be able to hold up to this.
12464298 is the new high-volume production number of the same head.
