Coil help-testing & correct date
I have a Delco-Remy Coil.
On the side it has a series of numbers/letters.
They are as follows:
270
B-R
What year vehicle and motor is correct for this coil?
How do you test a coil to make sure it is good?
Any help on this would be great!

That is the last 3 digits of the part number I believe. Put it on Ebay and advertise it as a '69 Z/28 coil and you will get a pretty penny for it. Bazillions of them out there.

Date code....LOL
I knew it was not a date code but was actally trying to get some feedback for the lettering/numbers. Someone sent me a web-site and it shows the coil was used for '68 thru '74 mostly SB 327 and 350 motors.
Now for the testing part.....HOW???
