Hood Emblems 454
Hi Everyone,
I would love some assistance with this one. I have a LT1 / Big Block hood for my 1970 big block which I need to fit the 454 badges onto. The Assembly Manual gives all the dimension where they should go, it is pretty clear ..... except.... the datum point for all the horizontal measurements is unclear. They have all those measurements based from a double line marked as -25 (in a circle).
Does anyone know what this point is? Where it can be found?
At first I though it might be a overlap joint on the underside of the hood, or a step in the hood. But I can't see what they are talking about.
Can anyone assist?
