If I put a drive shaft loop on, how far behind the tranny should it be and attached to what? Will the one Summit offers work?
I believe that by NHRA rules, it has to be within 6 inches or so of the transmission slip yoke u-joint..
I used the summit loop.. However, I did have to cut the tunnel for it to fit as that loop is wider than the tunnel. There are other loops available.. I believe that dragvette.com has one available and there are also some forum members that were able to fabricate a loop and made it available for sale.. Those loops mount to the transmission crossmember..

GS3 what about the half-shafts? Did you loop them too?
