Default Compression Test Question

I'm doing a compression test but the headers are in the way on number 1-2 / 7-8. Any tricks to get the guage hooked up. Not wanting to pull the headers.

The hose on the gauge won't bend enough to get it screwed in.

Scott you may have already tried this but it worked for me on my BB. I disconnedted the guage from the hose via the quick connect. Then I was able to thread it with enough twist in the hose. It was not easy though. Luckily I only had problem getting to 3,5,7. Also not sure what year your car is but I removed the side egg crate on mine and was able to get a straighter shot at 5 and 7. Hope this helps.

Good Luck!!
