Default fuse block corrosion?

cannot seem to get power at the a/c control switch unless I push on the 30 amp fuse. seemed like the old fuse had some white dust on it and I think the fuse blosk needs cleaning. hopefully the fuse block is ok. Has anybody used a emery board to clean the fuse block terminals? any suggestions out there? When I do get power everything works fine except there is not much difference between low and medium speed on the fan. resistor is new.
Thanks
tom

Get a wire brush made specifically for cleaning automotive light bulb sockets, they work great for cleaning fuse block terminals.

make sure you disconnect the battery before you get a wire brush anywhere near that fuse box.

A .22 caliber barrel brush also works well after you put a 90 degree bend in it.....

I have similar issues but I think my fuse block is too far gone for simply cleaning, where could I buy a NEW fuse block? Seem to be hard to find

Check out www.lectriclimited.com . They have lots of "hard to find" electrical components for Vettes.
