pws69 - Windshield Question for you.
pws69 - I tried to PM but your inbox is full.
Here is my question:
I just looked at your windshield installation site - good stuff. I am doing mine on Monday and have a question on the spacers. I have the butyl tape and it came with two spacers. Is that all I need? Is the windshield placed on the spacers or is it just to space the windshield to the kickup in the windshield frame? I have a current post on some "clips" that the 71 has but I see your 69 doesn't have these also a buddy of mine has a '75 and he dosen't have these "clips" either.

I can't find this thread. Can anyone direct me to it? I am putting a windshield back into my 68 and think I got it figured out but thought I would first read any info thats available.

John,
My 71 has the 2 clips you mention. They would apear in the picture marked 'spacer and seal' in speakeasy's instructions. They screw to the bottom of the windshield frame and have a lip on them that the bottom of the windshield sits on and makes positioning the windshield up and down really easy.
