Goodyear tires Original or Repro??? Differance??
I am trying to correct a mistake and need info on Goodyear tires.. Is there a way to tell Original tires from reproduction? I bought polyglas(plain, not GT) and from great info on this forum found out Vettes didnt come with Polyglas and now came across Speedways. They are used, in nice shape and i need to know if i'm gettin "taken" They are being represented as original!!! Thank You!!

Before even talking about "are they real" the question of what are you going to use them for comes up. OLD original tires get judging points and are great to see but are TOO dangerous to drive on. Much has been posted on various forums about this.
The 68-69 and 70-72 NCRS Tech Guide has a good description of what the original tires looked like.
