I am installing a 1966-67 muncie m21 in a 74 vette that came with a th400. I have a slip yoke for the muncie, but it is smaller than the driveshaft u-joint. I read a post saying to get a u-joint for a 76 and or later, because it used a different joint for the th350. After a half hour at the parts store we couldnt find one that was offset. Does anyone know what I am looking for?
There are combination joints available at better parts stores. Best bet is to phone some stores in your area and ask for a combination joint to fit your chassis. They may want the drive shaft and yoke to help you get the correct joint. There are several of them for many different combinations, I have sold dozens of them.
PS, these will not be found in a computer. AEC manufacturing company makes them. AEC makes them for various brands to resell

Richmond 6-speed to my former Muncie M-21 driveshaft:
Spicer 5-134x
or
TRW 20056(Part number on receipt is PRJ-20056
The yoke I used was a 3930827, supposedly a Turbo 400 yoke.
Those part numbers are from 1998 so be aware.
Thanks to Ecklers for providing me with the U-joint part number....they didn't have to, and I mentioned that I'd be willing to buy it from them, but that if it didn't fit; it would just end up being shipped back and forth across the country. They were very nice about it.
