I like the look of clean black healthy looking vacuum line personally, from the valve cover to the carb. You can get tubing in any color to match your engine bay color scheme, and you can even go so far as to make it out of braided stainless steel line for that bling look.

another option is to bend a fuel line so that just the ends are fitted with hose, then run the hard line under the buffer . . . looks almost like chrome
