Default Alignment question

After replacing the A-Arm bushings on my 75 coupe I had the car aligned, didn't seem to need it but thought it was a good idea. I called around and a local chevy dealer said they handle older cars all the time. The car drives fine, no pulling, tracks straight no complaints except the steering wheel is off center to the left. Should I be worried ?

Yes, get it aligned. It won't cost you that much $$$. Have them introduce a deg more of negitive caster too! or was it positive caster? Darn...I get it mixed up all the time.

Thanks for your responds Viper.
I had it aligned, and now I have the steering wheel off center. Should I get aligned again?

Yes and there shouldn't be any charge. The first thing that mech. should have done is center your steering wheel , then align to do it right.
Take it back, explain to the shop manager your steering wheel is not centered and have a different guy do it that will get it right this time.

It's positive caster that's desired. Of course, if it's a manual steering car more will make parking lot maneuvers a tad more difficult, but it's good for upper body strength.
