identifying 68-71 speedos

The only difference I know of is that from 68 till the first month of 70 production, the high beam indicator lens was RED, after that it was BLUE. All those years had the greenish numerals.

In addition to Alans remarks , It is my understanding that the speedo / tach cable on a 68 threaded in. The later cars use a clip to hold the cable after it is slide into the receiver.
I believe the basic 1969 thru 1971 speedo assy will interchange
and you coulld swap out the plastic piece that Alan refered to that gives the red or blue color to the high beam indicator.
As for the W/O speed warning. I do not think that was offered after 1969? Will need to allow others to confirm or correct that detail.
