starter electrical problem
i have a 1980 corvette and the wire that runs from the small terminal on the starter is not holding a charge and wont let my starter roll the engine. were does this wire run to and what should i do to fix this problem. do i need a whole new harness or is it easy to fix.

no there is no electrical current running to the small terminal on the starter i followed the wire as best as i could and ran a test light but the light never lit up there for there is a short somewere on that wire and i dont no were it goes

there is a fusible link, but that circuit shouldn't send juice unless you are turning the key while you are testing...the fusible link is at the starter on my '79. if you are testing it and noone at the ignition then i would say you are getting a false reading
