Sweet lookin EFI

I have always thought that Hilborn injection systems are pretty nasty lookin. Are they as accurate as Hilorn claims them to be with out laptop tuning? Does anyone know of companies that make EFI systems like Hilborn's?

I dont know about accuracy, but your looking at about 9 grand for a get up from kinsler.

I was kind of butt-hurt about it too. Just the intake manifold is 3K, with no ram tubes, throttlebodies, or linkage.

did you get your moneys worth when you compare it to a standard carburetor or a different efi system like an edelbrock sequential setup?

The money buys you looks and bragging points. You'll get the same performance with a $2,500 Holley or Edelbrock system.

Didnt buy it. If it was like 4K, I probably would have pulled the trigger.

You can convert hilborn and kinsler mechanical set ups to efi without too many problems. You just have to adapt the injectors and a tps to name a few but it has been done; you can usually find used magnesium sprit car three piece units for $1000... Just a thought.
