Fuell cell...
Can a modern fuel cell be used to replace the original gas tank on a 77'........The reason I ask is I'm looking to replace my tank and a freind of mine has one of those fuell cells from Summit that he's not using.....Is it a big deal to convert? Thanx...Jerrylee///

As long as it measures out I dont see why you couldnt. You would probably have to weld some brackets for it to sit on between the current strap brackets. Also would have to figure out the fuel gauge calibration. When there's a will, there's a way. I would save the old stuff just in case.....

I am looking at doing the same thing. I also looked at the summit tanks. My reason is to hold more fuel. I think they had a 22 gal which interested me.. I also need a bypass line for my pump so it may make sense for me to just change out the tank. Should be a pretty straight forward deal. Keep me posted on what your doing. I wont start my deal for a few months.
