Default All Ground Straps...
I am just curious of the locations of all the ground straps on my 79 L-48
1. Driver Side Antenna to frame
2. Driver Side Rocker Channel to Frame (Close to the Canister)
3. Starter to Frame Ground.
What else am I missing? I have one more ground strap and not sure of the location. Is is from the ignition shield to the block?

What grounds effect what control/fuctions on my car?

Yes, there's a strap that goes from the ignition shield to the rear upper bolt on the passenger side valve cover.

I thought there was one from the firewall to the valve cover.

i have an 80 and there was not one to the valve cover on my car.
