Luggage Rack
I was planning on removing my luggage carrier to do some polishing. It looks straight forward, but I know better. Are there going to be any surprises once I remove it, or will it just go back on with no problem? Do I need new hardware beforehand? Thanks.

Unless, the screws are corroded in the well nuts you should be OK. Most of the well nuts I have seen are brass so I expect yours should come out fine. You should be able to use the same well nuts without a problem. If you have to replace any, push the old ones down through and they will work their way to the ground at some point
