81 AC/Heater Control

81 AC/Heater Control
Recently purchased my 81 and every day there is something new. The AC/Heater control is propped up in its console by a piece of wood. What is that part # ?? The **** that slides from ac to vent to heat is stuck. I was able to get the Control unit off of its electrical connections but the Temperature control cable seems permanent on the back of the Control unit. This is preventing me from removing the Control Unit to inspect. Any advice? Thanks :p:

Look on the rh side of console under the control unit ther is a clip squese it and it will come out. G.M. #14020093 control.Hope this helps if not e mali 1yy07rnc@bellsouth.net
