Nice job Gordon. I was hoping Dan would have the hoops ready for the coupe SharkBar. I got the camera mount too.
I'm going to to my own camera mount. It probably won't be as pretty as Dan's but it will be functional. I also have on order some bezels for my seats so Ican pass the belts through the upper part of the seat. I stole this idea from a C5 guy. Looks fairly simple to do.

No I do not have any side mounts right now. The belts are just going around the seats. They don't fall off my shoulders but this way they for sure won't.

Who did you order the bezels from? I put Z06 seats in mine and I'm going to have to do the same thing, or stitch in some side mounts.
Gordonm,
Your install looks great. Let me know how well you do in your first AutoX with the Sharkbar.
I hope you have a remote on your stereo
Thanks again for your business,

Stereo?? What is that? With the top down and the exhaust no way can I hear any tunes. The motor is the stereo. I just have the stock radio in the car and it is a rare thing if it is on.

I finally got around to getting all the belts in the car after the install. I used my son as a test figure to get the belts adjusted up. We then went for about an hour ride. The belts were quite comfortable and did not bother us at all. They do really lock you in and it is tough to just roll the windows up and down. I did not care about that. I wanted to feel secure in the car and not move around on hard cornering. I felt as though I was always hanging on to the wheel. This all went away.
Something was different about the car though. I was about 15 minutes into the drive noticing the car felt more solid. Gone were the rattles and the body shake you get with a Vert. I found myself heading for the rough spots just to confirm this. I hit all the spots that usually rattle my teeth out. Much to my pleasure the car was rock solid. I could not believe the difference.
I put the bar in for the belts but I am happier with the rattle free, no shake of the car even more. It really makes the body of the car solid.
I believe you. I installed an Autopower roll bar mostly to mount my four point harness. But as soon as I drove the car, I noticed how significantly stiffer the whole chassis was. And I have a T-top.

Interesting I have my harness bolted through the floor behind the seats and use two 1/4 in thick, 4 in sq. plates on each side of the fiberglass. I've thought about making a spreader bar that bolts in the same place as the shoulder straps on my 72 for rigidity.
