Sidepiper , the reason I asked is thta I had a short squeal that turned out to be the bushing on the front of the rearend hsg. where it mounts to the frame.
With your sound lasting 30 seconds I suspect a bearing is starting to go bad.
Maybe if you raise both rear wheels and turn the tires you may be able to isolate the location
