Electric Choke

I had my original Qjet rebuilt. I also had the vac. choke converted to electric. the Qjet service manual says the E4ME gets current to the choke coil through the oil pressure switch. No problem splicing a wire from the oil pressure switch but I do not see a place on the choke or carb to connect the wire.

any ideas??

Normally, the electric choke will have a couple of spade terminals coming off it. Any pictures?

My 81 has a connector to hook up to on the choke

now you're making me wonder if they converted the choke. I'll send photos if I can figure out how to upload them.

Do you still have the heat tubes and vacuum line connected to the choke housing? I thing the heated/vacuum choke works pretty good.

not all q-jets can be adapted to electric chokes.
