Blower motor question
Hi everyone, Before I dismantel the car I want to troubleshoot my blower motor issue. When I flip the switch from inside.. I hear a... "BINK" If I toggle the switch ... it sounds like Bink BINK BINK bink. (I am trying to think of what song this sounds like..) Seriously, has anyone had this similar issue. No fuses are blown. Thanks :confused:

Have you checked the AC high blower relay? It's mounted on the right-rear side of the engine compartment. It's comprised of an elctro-magnet and sometimes the contacts can get a carbon build-up on them preventing them from closing. It's possible this is the "bink" you're hearing. Unplug the two wires from and remove the relay. It's then easy to remove the cover by carefully unbending the tabs of the metal cover. be careful not to break either of the fine copper wires on the inside! Using a folded piece of extra-fine sandpaper, clean the contacts, reassemble and reinstall. Good luck!
